Assess Regarding Books The Day of the Dreader (How to Train Your Dragon)
This was okay but wasn't as good as the full books. Mostly because this wasn't supposed to have ties to the series and seemed more sillier then usual. Nice to see Fireworm though who just disappears in the books.

A fun and short Dragon story with all the usual staples of the series. Toothless is usual, troublesome self. Hiccup trying to do the right thing. Adventure. Charm. Humor. *SPOILER* I was a little surprised about the idea of another dragon wanting to eat baby dragons. *END SPOILER* I liked how it was part of World Book Day and makes me want to learn more about the event. I wish it was easier to get in the States. So, fun, very quick read the is interesting for the series but not needed to

I recently managed to acquire this book because I love the How to Train Your Dragon series (even though I haven't read them all yet - I'm working on that though.) This book was released for World Book Day in 2012 but I've only just got it now .... bit late to the party but at least I arrived! As expected this was a fun and surreal read, featuring hungry dragons and vikings, a rather scary dragon that throws out stinky goo and who also lays siege to Berk. Toothless also becomes the inadvertent

This is a World Book Day bonus for the How to Train Your Dragon series and its a sweet little addition that Im glad I spotted in a charity shop. It works as a standalone and you can easily get by without reading it at all, but it does have baby dragons in it and so theres that. All in all, it was pretty cute but I doubt Ill ever re-read it. If youre a fan of the series or just a completionist like me then you could do worse than picking it up especially if you can get it cheap.

Super cute.

I am totally addicted to Cressida Cowell's "How to Train your Dragon" series and I've read every single book to my children. They are funny, exciting and thoughtful - and "The Day of the Dreader" was no exception. This little book had as laughing and turning pages right from the first word. Yet another favourite to add to our collection.

This book is full of cuteness and funny moments!!!
