Blackwing Dragon is the fifth and final book in the Harpers Mountains Series and is Kanes and Rowans story. Kane is the last Blackwing Dragon that few people know exist, and Rowan is a Bloodrunner Dragon and the granddaughter of Damon. The two different types of dragons have been enemies for years and Kane and Rowan can break that cycle by falling in love. I have been looking forward to Kanes story since he appeared in the first book of this series. Kane has always been quiet and kept people at3.5 stars
That's a good book worth to be read.
Rowan drove me a bit nuts at the start. Her continual chatting about nothing, the way she jumped around during the inane chatting made me want to slap her, even as I laughed because Kane was having the same reaction as me. As the book went on Rowan got a bit better for me. I started to like her light hearted attitude, liked that she was able to get Kane to think about something other than wallowing in his life.I really liked the change that Rowan brought in Kane at the end, even if it was a bit
Absolutely fantastic read! There's something to be said about a tortured (literally) hero and a heroine who won't give up on him. Love, love, loved it!And that cover? Swoon.
I found this interesting this is Kane's story when he isn't part of her mountains as such..I liked the twist, it was really interesting and heartbreaking. I'm a big fan of Kane's I always was, hes the mysterious bad boy but good boy. This couple are a perfect match.
This made me laugh and cry as usual. I LOVED Kane and Rowan's story! As much as I love Damon there are times I wanna reach in and smack him around. I've learned little by little that there are REALLY GOOD F'IN REASONS he does what he does. We might not like it at the time or understand some things but there are excellent reasons. This was a prime example. He saved Kane's life all those years ago because he KNEW who he was going to be for Rowan and he wanted her to have him. He needed that for
