Great bookThis is a good book. can't wait to read the next one. once you start it'll be hard put it down.Bluesday by Adrienne Thompson is the story of blues singer, Bobbie Brooks. Bobbie seems to live a pretty successful life as an artist and she has her husband, Clyde, by her side as her manager. Bobbies world turns upside down when her husband disappears and all of her credit cards except for one are declined.Bobbie begins to go down a path of self-destruction and before she hits rock bottom she returns home to Arkansas. While at home, Bobbie must begin to put her life back together as she has no
Bobbie BluAnn Brooks world of blues comes full circle, just like a blues song. She goes from having it all, to having absolutely nothing in the blink of an eye. But while she is at the bottom, Bobbie finds the real friends and real love that have always been waiting there to pick her up. Good readThis was my first time reading this author and I really enjoyed Bobbie Ann's story. A story of love and forgiveness with life lessons sprinkled in. Great story line and character development a little slow in spots but not enough to mess up the story.
