How two people so well suited to each other could be so oblivious I'll never know. But that's just part of the fun. What I'm loving in this volume (and the one previous) is the minor characters who are taking on a bit more of a life of their own. Especially in the nature of one very interesting boy who dresses as a girl - with everyone around just kind of smiling and shrugging, and just outright accepting this as if it's not a big deal. And the author, by not making this a big deal, helps us toVolume three's version of Haruka is Seiko, introduced as a rival for Koizumi. It seems her character was created mainly to help Koizumi realize her feelings for Ôtani. It takes a lot to get this girl to make sense of her feelings. How Nakahara deals with gender and gender identity is troublesome but pretty usual for most Japanese manga-ka's. It's used as a gag or a punchline to a joke, which is discomforting but not surprising. I will say that Nakahara manages to keep things positive and the
It's so cute... It made me cry. :') Otani is adorable. He reminds me of a teddy bear. :p I wanna hug him... He unfortunately isn't real. :"(

Omg! This volume was a shocker. I thought the love triangle would go on for a while but Haruko was not seen after he said he will man up and then confess. Lol! But another love triangle was made which ended up in a big joke...LOL!! Haha! It keeps getting funny and interesting.
I agree with Elizabeth here. An extremely realistic series got a serious blow here with a guy dressing as a girl and going to school in girl's clothes. I'm a bit disappointed.
I absolutely love this book. What was kind of strange is that this book is kind of exactly like my life right now. For example I have a crush on the shortest guy in my class and I am the tallest girl in my class just like in the book. I am probably about one head taller then him and this makes it awkward to hang out with him. And what's even more strange is that we are both about the same ages as the characters in the book. The entire time I read this book I just laughed and cringed because I
Risa's feelings for Otani have become complicated lately. It doesn't help that everyone thinks they'd be a joke if they were together, considering she's six inches taller than him. But when they both begin to get romantic attention from enthusiastic potential partners, they have to examine their own jealousy and confusion when facing the thought of losing each other to someone else.Risa finally coming to terms with like-liking Otani was nice, and you can't help but root for this awkward couple,
