Rendition Toward Books Alfie - O Gato do Bairro (Alfie #1)

Judgment About Books Alfie - O Gato do Bairro (Alfie #1)
Princess Fuzzypants here:As a cat myself, I am only too aware of the sad situation of some cats whose humans think they are disposable like refuse. Alfie owned a lovely elderly lady and lived a sheltered and wonderful life until she died. Her children said they were going to send Alfie to a shelter for reforming but Alfie decided to take things in his own paws. He set off to find his own humans.Along the way, amidst the dangers and deprivations of street life, Alfie came to a couple of

What a wonderfully insightful book of cat and human nature. A remarkable read, I could not put it down, I looked forward to coming home and finding time to read this enchanting book. I even cried. Well done Rachel and I so look forward to your next book. You really deliver the fragile yet infinite threads of life. Congratulations.

I am not crying I swear. Im just very emotional. It was predictable and cheesy, and Alfie is very melodramatic, but I love him, and the book, anyways. Ill definitely be reading the sequel(s)! Trigger warnings: psychological/emotional abuse, animal abuseLonger review to come I hope!

When Alfie's elderly owner passes away, her daughter and son-in-law plan on taking Alfie to a shelter. Alfie has heard that shelters are not a good place for cats (he may be euthanized) so he decides to strike out on his own and find a new home. But Alfie has been a well-cared for and well-loved cat so he's not sure what to do or where to go.After wandering around for a long time (cats have no sense of time so it could have been days, weeks or months), he ends up on Edgar Road, hungry and thin.

Loved Alfie! I found this book many months back in a bin at the thrift store. It then ended up between my books in a cabinet. I have to say it was an easy read and a good story. I didn't know how much I liked this book and I didn't know there were lots more books of Alfie. So I guess I have to order some more books....

A touching story from the cat's perspective.First Alfie's big sister dies, then his owner. Alfie is devastated, and to his horror he hears his beloved owner's daughter and his mother say they will take him to the shelter (aka death row). He runs away in search of a new home. Life on the street is difficult, but when he finally arrives on Edgar Street, he knows this is where he will make his home. Because Alfie does not want to risk becoming a street cat again, he decides to befriend 4 different

This book has been a very lovely read. It was bought for me as a gift. My partner said he'd saw it and thought of me instantly as we have our very own 'doorstep cat'. It has made me feel differently towards him and what struggles he might have been through. I have been able to relate to this book because of this cat who visits us so it was through ugly enjoyed. I look forward to seeing our furry visitor even more after reading this.I also look forward to being able to share his book with others.
