Interpretation Toward Books The Storybook of Legends (Ever After High #1)

At Ever After High, an enchanting boarding school, the children of fairytale legends prepare themselves to fulfill their destinies as the next generation of Snow Whites, Prince Charmings and Evil Queens...whether they want to or not. Each year on Legacy Day, students sign the Storybook of Legends to seal their scripted fates. For generations, the Village of Book End has whispered that refusing to sign means The End-both for a story and for a life.

As the daughter of the Evil Queen, Raven Queen's destiny is to follow in her mother's wicked footsteps, but evil is so not Raven's style. She's starting to wonder, what if she rewrote her own story? The royal Apple White, daughter of the Fairest of Them All, has a happy ever after planned for herself, but it depends upon Raven feeding her a poison apple in their future.

What if Raven doesn't sign the Storybook of Legends? It could mean a happily never after for them both.

Weigh Up About Books The Storybook of Legends (Ever After High #1)
This one was a dnf because it was too boring and ridiculous. I really like Everafter High the cartoon but there are so many questions left unanswered in the first part of this book. I don't understand how Raven's father is the good King. Does that mean that Snow is Ravens sister? If everyone is just going to relive their parent's fairytale, why don't they have the same name as their parents. They are not reincarnations of their parents because their parents are still alive but why must they live

I couldn't stomach the candyfloss sweetness and shallowness of this made-to-merchandise book. Didn't make it past the first few chapters. Really disappointed, this isn't up to Shannon's usual standard.

Absolutely spellbinding!! Love the characters, especially Maddie shes so hexellent! I suggest for a cute and interesting read,if you love fairy tales this is for you!

In this fairy tale world the children of various fairy tale characters know that they will go to school and eventually grow up and take the place of their parents. So Apple White will eventually become the new Snow White. And Raven Queen will eventually become the Evil Queen destined to try to kill Apple. The only complication is that Raven doesnt want to be evil. She doesnt even like her mother and wants to be nothing like her. Sure she has power and goblins and the like are more than willing

This book is so charming and fun. With an intriguing story line, some hexcellent characters, and a delightful narration, "Ever After High: The Storybook of Legends" is a tale that keeps you guessing and page turning. Hale is a master craftsman when it comes to weaving together this fairytale land -- especially when it comes to manners of speech, metaphors, and character relationships. But most of all, the book is fun. From the chapter titles to the author's wit, this book is simply enjoyable! I

Ever after High seems to be geared toward the "tween age" girls, yet as a twenty-nine year old I still found it enjoyable. Ever After High is the story of our fairytale descendants (Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella's daughters, as well as the Huntsmen's son, the Evil Queen's daughter, and the Mad Hatter's daughter, you get the picture). All of these teens go to Ever After High, and sophomore year is legacy year, where they sign the book of legends and commit to take over their

I have read several Shannon Hale books, so I was really looking forward to this one, and I can say I am really surprised, this one was really fun. However, not all characters were good. For instance, I loved Raven and her struggle to fight against her destiny and becoming evil. But I disliked Apple and her lack of empathy and such towards people. She was really rude and mean to Raven, trying to reform her to writing her signature under the story, just so her (Snow White) story will stay alive. I
