To be honest, I'm surprised i finished this at all. The idea just wasn't executed well. To begin with, the mystery wasn't so much as a mystery since everything was just plainly obvious. Also, the body seemed to have been long forgotten after it was mentioned once or twice. The love aspect was too quick. I understand the 'love at first sight' thing happening but this was just a bit ridiculous for me to read. The characters weren't very in-depth. Liz just seemed childish and that was the onlyPosted on blog K-Bookshttp://kayleigh-m-books.blogspot.com/...I bought this book a while ago as I thought it sounded intriguing but it was never at the top of my to-read list. It has been sat on my shelf for months so I finally decided to read it.If I'm honest I had no motivation to read this at the beginning. Sure it sounds like a really good story but I couldn't help thinking of the other books I have that I can't wait to read. However I kept on reading and I am so glad that I did. After the

Mortal Kiss is an amazing book. At first, I thought it would be one of those books with the typical 'girl-meets-mysterious-boy-and-falls-in-love-without-knowing-anything-about-him' kind of book, and it sort of was. Notice the 'sort of'.I don't regret reading this book and I was waiting for the typical fantasy romance and I was wrong. Twists, turns, ups and downs had me hooked from the first page right until the last word. If you want something 'Mills & Boon' style - this isn't the romance
3 stars - average, i liked it enough but it wasnt anything special..in fact i had this wierd sense of deja vu the whole time i was reading, i have a feeling that i may have read this book ages ago - well skimmed maybe. because the glass scence at the end, the scene with finn, ballard, and the silver knuckle dusters and one or two other moments felt as though i have read them before. maybe i have, its just that the rest of the book wasnt really that familiar i just had that feeling with a few
This story had some potential. BUT IT WAS DONE IN SUCH A BAD WAY. I have to say that this is the worst book I've ever read.If you like this book, go ahead and like it all you want I'm not dissing you for it. I am just entirely not a fan of this disappointment. Not only is this a very discount off brand story following the years ago twilight trend. It was just so bad I'm really struggling to find how this was even published. The writing was too simplistic and very boring to read. The characters
I read this a while ago and the first time I attempted it, I'll admit I got bored very quickly and put it away. Then, I tried reading it again about a year later and it was much better the second time. It was hard for me to connect properly with the book and the characters for a while, however, but eventually I did settle in and began to enjoy it a lot and it even got to the point where I did not want to put it down.I got rather confused sometimes and didn't understand where the story was
