I read my first Mary Higgins Clark book in 2004 and it was her first book. Being a little weird, I had decided to read her books in the order they were written, even though they are not a series. I thought it might prove interesting to see how her writing changed over time. I realized recently that I haven't read one of her books in a long time. (I'm not counting My Gal Sunday, which isn't really a novel and wasn't good, which I read in 2015.) The last one of her novels I read was in 2013. This

Picking up this book, I had high hopes since Mary Higgins Clark is a name I've heard and seen oftentimes in bookstores. I was thrilled at the mystery that boggled the characters in this story and I loved the psychological aspect of it but there were a few things that threw me off a bit.First of all, I found the first half of the story to be a bit of a bore.
